Civil Society : Mutual Accountability Project
Development Exchange Center (DEC) Nepal is implementing local project under Civil Society: Mutual Accountability Project (CS:MAP). It is a project supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by FHI 360. CS:MAP’s goal is to foster a more legitimate, accountable, and resilient Nepali civil society that is capable of advancing the public interest. Reinforcing Chepang Women as Change Agents for Promoting Local Goverance funded by UNDEF
Development Exchange Center (DEC) Nepal has launched a new project: Reinforcing Women of the Chepang Community as Change Agents for Promoting Local Governance in Nepal funded by The United Nations Democracy Fund. This 2-year project (1 January 2015- 31 December 2016) project aims at empowering women in the indigenous Chepang community to increase their engagement in local governance for promoting pro-poor and gender responsive decision-making processes. International Network of Financial Institution Nepal (INAFI Nepal)

The network adopts multi-stakeholder approach by engaging diverse Microfinance Institutions comprising of Savings and Credit Cooperatives, Financial Intermediary NGOs, NGOs with saving components, and microfinance development banks. It has envisioned that poor and disadvantaged groups will improve their livelihood through the provision of affordable and socially responsible financial

cp3 DEC-Nepal has also initiated different micro level initiatives with its own resources such as ethno botanic museum, goat chain program, herbal plant cultivation, women group formation and empowerment are the key ones.
