South Asia Regional Program on Capacity Building of Women Farmers through Exchange of Knowledge was implemented in 2 VDCs of Chitwan (Kumroj and Kathar) and 2 VDCs of Makwanpur (Handikhola and Basamadhi) with financial support of IFAD. The major goal of the program was to empower women farmers through institution development, capacity building, and exchange of knowledge and adoption of traditional and new sustainable land management practices and to facilitate advocacy and improve the rights of women farmers.
